True, but
The griffin watches you walk away and is quite confused. It clearly sees what's going on and doesn't like it. It sits down to wait for your return, certain you'll be back for it.

It will miss you, but soon it's instincts will take over and it'll be happier flying freely.

Why did they have to make it so heartbreaking?
