Scar sat in the driver's seat and started the car, completely ignoring Van Helsing.

The motor started up with one purr, then was silent.
"You know where to go, correct?" Van asked.

Akemi's eyes fluttered open. It took her a moment to realize where she was and what was happening, but she soon realized.
"Akemi-san, you're awake~"
"... Undertaker. Honestly."
"It isn't my fault~"
She slipped her headphones off, disconnecting her phone from it. "I blame you anyway."
"Goodbye Nightshade~"
"Siyonara."
"... You do not sound very regretful or sad~"
"I do not attach myself to things. The pain only worsens when they leave you." Something was hiding in her green eyes, an unforgotten misery.
"You were attached to something when you were young, Akemi-san~"
Akemi sighed. "I was young, and stupid. That was a long time ago. I gave away something I will never get back. The pain will be unbearable when they are taken from you. Believe me, it will hurt. This is exactly why I do not attach myself to things or people."

Scar winced at Akemi's words, falling silent until his cell phone rang. Hesitantly, he answered it.

"Talk." He said. "Really...yes, yes, I know that...no, not now...I'll take care of him soon enough...Bye." The conversation was quick and to the point, but no one with him actually knew what he was talking about or who he was talking to.
