~ The Outcasted II ~ The Return ~ RP

Akemi stopped cold.

Trust. Trust. Trust. That one little word. It rang in her mind like dying church bells. She'd heard it before, yes. But that one day she decided to put the meaning of trust to action, it only managed to stab her in the back when she wasn't looking. Even Akemi trusted someone once - but only once. Then there was betrayal, cheating, lying, and backstabbing. Never again, she'd promised herself the sacrifice of never trusting anyone ever again. As much as Akemi wanted to trust him, it was impossible. And the little trust she did have just wasn't enough.

She said nothing. Her hair fell over the sides of her face like long black drapes, and a malevolent shadow hung over her eyes. Her jaw was clenched tight, and her teeth grinded against the other. Her back to Scar, her shoulders were hunched as she hung her head. "Tch."

"I don't know your past, and I don't ask to know. I just ask for you trust me with this one thing." Scar said calmly. Ever so slowly, he raised his hand and pulled down his hood, revealing his black mask. It had no space where the mouth could be shown, only allowing the eyes to be seen. His inky black hair blew in the cold breeze that swept by, the pale skin on his neck the only visible flesh on him. His deadly gaze was somehow softer, as if he knew that she'd been betrayed before. "I am not anyone else you may have met, and I never will be..."

Akemi didn't look at him. Her shoulders were quivering, she was obviously fighting tears. "I can't... A-as much as I want to..." She couldn't say anything. For there wasn't anything she could say without breaking down.

Mika followed Akemi silently and walking in the shadows of the ally. She said, "I was betrayed once... he was my best friend..." she drifted off and traced a long scar she still had running from her belly button down to her right hip, and dropped her face as a single tear dropped to the ground. She looked up at Akemi as if seeing her as in a new light. She realized what they were. They were a group of outcasts. They were all betrayed, had betrayed, and had all killed. They were all tied in the evil, betraying knot of the world they lived in. She whispered something so quietly no one could here it and dropped her head, her hair dropped over her face.

A knife shot past Mika's face, slicing some of Mika's hair effortlessly. Akemi had fallen to her knees, gripping both sides of her head with her hands, her face contorted with rage, sadness, and anger. Her bangs hid her eyes, which held a malevolent and miserable shadow. "Don't... say it again... I can't... take it anymore..." Akemi managed, literally shaking in enragement.

(( This is exactly how I feel right now... ))

((GOD!! i was trying to make their relationship better!! they seem like such haters!! i kind of wanted them to more like... aquantencices or something!!<-spelling :/))

Mika bent down and picked up the hair that had been cut off. She the held out the uneven hair that had been cut off. She looked from one thing to the other, pointlessly tried to put them back together by jamming them into each other with a frustrated face and then dropped the hair to the ground with a sigh. She fell on her butt and put her head against the wall, her neck exposed.

(( It's a rare thing when you actually make friends with Akemi. Like I said, the second era of the Outcasted is much more malevolent [god I love that word] and emotionless than the old one. ))

(( Also, there is no wall. Akemi's on a roof. XD ))

Akemi climbed to her feet, pulling her hood up. She acted as if nothing had happened a moment ago, just leapt off the roof and into the city, her PSE Tac 15 crossbow in her hand, quiver on her shoulder.
