~ The Outcasted II ~ The Return ~ RP

Mika was stuck in a weird consciousness. She was in a limbo between awake and unconscious. She was walking in a dreamlike land. Her throat had opened enough to breathe but was still uncomfortable. Then through the mist in her mind she saw her sister and father looking at her sadly. They waved and turned away from her. The swirling mist swallowed them up again. She screamed for them with no sound. She ran though she couldn't move. Whatever she did they didn't come back. Tears ran dusty tracks down her cheeks, both in her mind and in real life. The tears she never cried came out then, trickling like a stream down her face. The longing and pain was unbearable. She gave up on life. She didn't die but lost the will to live. She was content to stay in her limbo for a while.

Even though Akemi had felt Mika's tears touch her arm, then drop to the ground, she continued forward. Her face was emotionless, her hands were still bloody from crushing her ex-boyfriend's membrane. It left bloody prints on Mika's pale skin.

Slinking into a space she'd created behind a few dumpsters, she laid Mika down carefully. Looking in her small black bag, Akemi pulled out amber-colored fruit. With her dagger, she stripped it down to the pulp. Fixing open Mika's lips, she forced a few drops of the juice into her mouth. It had a tangy taste, tart but sweet. It instantly eliminated the illness in Mika's body. Akemi pushed her back against the wall, resting her head against it too.

Mika gasped and shot straight up. She breathed heavily and looked around wildly as if she just woke up from a nightmare which in a way, she did.

Akemi hardly moved. Her eyes fluttered shut as she wrapped her arms around herself, conserving heat. She let the chill of night wrap around her, enclose her in her own coccoon of cold.

(( I'll start. ))

Akemi shivered again as the breeze became more proficient. She pulled her jacket closer around herself, the tail laying uselessly on the ground. She decided that lying around would do her no good, so she pulled herself to her feet. Covering Mika, she headed out, her hands on her jacket, keeping it enclosed around her. Looking up, she noticed a ledge where she could begin climbing to the top of the building, hoping to find somewhere warmer. Placing her left foot on it, she pushed up hard, raising her higher. Foot. Hand. Hand again. Foot. It wasn't long before she was at the top. In a crouch on the edge of the building, her tailcoat blew elegantly sideways, twisting and snapping. She looked at her leather-gloved hands, the fingers cut out, revealing black nails. One finger slid under it, and stripped it away from her hand, revealing a sequence of black lines, all connecting to make a dragon's head on the inside of her palm. On the other was something different. On the inside of her palm was a leaf, shaped like a heart, with an orange flame-like splash of color in the middle.

<--- Heart tattoo. I'm getting that tattoo when I'm old enough.

Mika layed on the ground not wanting to get up. She wanted revenge. She was bloodthirsty at that moment but seeing as there was no one around it quickly subsided. She watched Akemi climb the building without seeing.

Akemi pulled out a pocket watch and flipped it open. "This shouldn't take too long." She looked up to see the city. She scanned the throng of stores and shops until she spotted Impellezerri's pizzeria. She grinned wickedly, standing up. She dashed across silently, then skid to a halt at the edge of the rooftop. Pushing up hard with the heel of her boots, she leapt about 10 feet up, then dropped, landing elegantly on the sidewalk. People parted as she dropped, screeches of surprise and fear erupting from their throats. Akemi's hood fell over her head, hiding her face. Her hair blacker than a thousand moonless midnights, she headed to Impellezerri's. People hurridly moved out of her way out of the fear she'd caused the passerbys.
