Midnight coughed a little and stirred. Then she was still. Queen buried her head in Zaids shirt.

Midnights breathing was slow. Her eyes fluttered. Queen placed her paw in Midnights hand, then her eyes and outline of her body glowed dark blue. Then Midnight was still.

Jadyn placed her hand on Midnight's eyes and said a chant. "You may fall, but always rise. Stand tall, look me in the eyes. You can't leave, we're not through yet. Your life has just begun."

'Jadyn! You understand no magic except for mine works on her!' Queen said to Jadyn. Her tears spilled onto Zaids shirt.
