"We are not freaks." Jadyn's voice was cold. "We are privileged beings, capable of more than anyone can ever imagine."

"You sound like those freaky scientists. I don't feel privledged."

"Then why do the so-called 'normal' people fear us? I consider that a privilege." Aric said.

"Maybe they fear you .. But me? They thought I was like a freaking angel or something."

Jadyn snickered quietly. "You must command their respect." Aric stood tall.

He let a grin escape, pulling up the arms of his sweatshirt to reveal his lower arms. "Oh they respect me alright. Just a little to much."
