Midnight teleported to Jadyn and sent her back to camp. Midnight turned a corner and saw a man. "Get outta here... not possible!" Midnight whispered.
The man that had shot her.
Midnight snarled.
Then a flashback passed through her mind.
The man was her father.
'Stay back, Outcasted. This is my fight, and my fight alone.' She sent her thoughts to the Outcasted. 'No one else is gettin hurt but me. Zaid, if anything happens to me, you will lead the Outcasted.

The man turned and shot at Midnight, she drew her sword and deflected the bullet away from her as the bullet hit the sword and fell to the ground.

Shade runs out from the forest with fresh deer meat.

Shade goes in her den and puts up the deer meat. Shade looks around. "Are you ok Midnight?"
