She scooted over next to him.

He squinted slightly, furrowing his brows. "What is that suppose to mean?"

He put his arm around her and kissed her on the cheek ever so slightly.

She lowered her eyes, "It's too embarrassing."

 

[Broken]

Madge grinned, looking toward him.

"Come on Pidge, tell me. I don't judge."

He looked into her eyes, "I'll always love you."

She shook her head and looked up to the rising moon.

 

[Broken]

"Forever and ever?" She smiled, a teasing air about her question.

He shrugged, turning and heading toward the waters edge.

He laughed, "Forever and ever."

She stood there in the water for a moment, longing. But soon enough she went and followed him.

She smiled. "Good."

James sat on a rock, letting himself air dry. "You got to tell me what's wrong or I can't do anything about it Pidge."

He smiled back, "Now get some sleep."

She sat across from him on a different rock. "Well it's nothing wrong or bad, just how I feel I guess."

She lay on her back next to him, watching the dull stars.

"Well, how, er, do you feel?"
