“Like this,” Seth said. Just after he finished his sentence, his body began to change. His arms and legs grew thicker and slightly longer while his hands and feet became something that had was vaguely similar to an elephant’s foot in shape, and had smallish curved claws in an arrangement very close to that of the fingers on a human hand. His head elongated and flattened slightly, his eyes grew and moved to the front of his head, and several small ear-like flaps grew from the back of his head. A long tail with two sets of fin-like protrusions, one set at the tip and the other at the base, sprouted from the end of his spine and quickly grew to at least fifteen feet long. Two wings came out of the sides of his spine about midway down his back and each expanded to somewhere around twenty feet wide. Finally, his entire body swelled to at least five times its normal size and obsidian-black scales grew on top of his skin. The transformation complete, Seth looked at Jinx with eyes that seemed oddly large and puppy-like in their emotion, then crouched down so she could climb onto his back, should she accept his offer.
