Callie silently agreed with Madge. She had just witnessed it kill several villagers.

The dragon snapped awake when he heard this, and slowly stood up and started backing away. He didn't want to hurt them, because he knew that these were the outsiders, but he couldn't comunicate. Then he relized that some of them had the power to speak with animals, but he didn't know where any of them were. He didn't know what to do at this point except not let them kill him without hurting them in the process.
