She smirked, "You wish." Her heart pitter-pattered.

"We will." He said assuringly.

He rolled his eyes, "Now come on, your emotions are so easy to read."

She nodded, "I trust you."

She shrugged, "Well maybe you are misreading me then."

He smiled and hugged her closer.

"I'm not." He mumbled as he walked toward her, slowly, waiting for a reaction he placed two fingers along her carotid artery. "I can see your pulse increase."

She grinned.

A sudden thought came to him, "I haven't seen Ella in a while."
