James nodded. Winking at Madge who stood just behind Adam.

He noticed the gesture and rolled his eyes, laughing. Then he turned back to Madge as the headed to the forest.

"You want to look by the creek?" Madge questioned once out of sight.

He nodded, "Yeah sure!"

She grinned heading toward the ccreek.

Adam thought about other things and sometimes spaced off. Once at the creek he bent down to splash water in his face.
