She sat back down so she wouldn't be noticed.

He laughed.

How could he notice me? Ella thought.

He sighed once more.

He sighed.

"You've changed Adam."

He looked at her, "How?"

She went into her kitchen and drank some water. She then again looked out the window and saw James, alone.

"Your always uptight, i-i dunno."

He yawned.

He let his sholders slump. He looked at the ground, "I'm sorry."

She was debating whether she should go out there or not.

 

[Broken]

"Why are you sorry?"

He looked toward the fire once again.

"Cause. Of how I'm acting I s'pose."

She grabbed a sweatshirt and stopped at the door.

"Don't be sorry."

He balanced his elbows on his knees, the dancing fire lightening up his dull eyes.
