James grinned, loving how the teasing bothered her; then his mood drastically changed as he headed for the edge of the water nodding to her question. "Go back to camp Ella, i'll be there in a minute."

Livv looked at the icy arrows, she had made 7. She gazed around, she realized how hungery she was, she spotted a red patch in the water, near where the tiny stream met the great lake, "Cranberries." she whispered to herself. She jumped up, brushed the fresh, mossy mud from her jeans & made her way over to the patch. She looked over her shoulder, thinking someone was near, but ignored the feeling and went on.

James slowed to let her catch up before resuming his quick pace; after stepping out of the lake he shook out his dark hair. "I don't know that's what i'm going to find out. If it's the witch or something medling around I don't want you anywhere near her; you know what happened to Madge. I don't want that happening to you, alright?"

"No!" James objected quickly, nudging her toward the camp. "Please Pidge," he quietly pleaded, looking back toward the noises.

"Becuase Pidge, your my best friend; I love you." James replied squinting his eyes slightly, he sighed. "Fine. Let's go, but i'm blaming myself if it's a crazy and they hurt or take you."

She gasped quietly. He loves you. She started to smile. "What?" She didn't know if she heard him correctly.
