All he could do was smile. A dance started with the Alphas at the front. He led the way to the cabin he and Ana would share.

Anaklusmos followed him, ecstatic.

Someone handed Omri the hammer he would use to finish the house. He hammered the last nail, then picked up Ana.

She placed her head on his shoulder. She knew, instantly that
this was her home.

He carried her into the cabin and closed the door, the party still going on outside.

She fell into a chair, laughing.

"How do you feel?" He asked, laughing while sitting next to her.

"I can't even put it into words."

 

[LittleLady98]

He smiled and gave her a kiss.
