Hi guys!
So, one of my chickens is bullying the other. She doesn't let her eat or sleep where/when she wants. I had to take the victim away inside to feed her and let her sleep in peace. She was then healthy so I let her out to see if the "Pecking Order Business" had stopped, but it hasn't.

I'm worried that some serious injury could occur. I would really appreciate any advice!

Thank You!

I had this problem with my zillion roosters. I just started putting them in freezer camp even though it was a bit early. I first did the really really bad bully. He even bothered the hens, chased them all over the barn yard! I then did the big wimps who everyone bullied. right now we have peace. That sometimes changes by the day. My hen don't bother each other. They run to me for protection.

Taking her out for a day and then putting her back will escalate things. They seem to see them as a new arrival for some reason. I would give them a chance to settle again before calling it a problem still.

I'm going through this now with one i took out due to illness and have started feeding the reintroduced one apart from the others but within site. That seems to be working better than taking her right out. Just a bit of temp wire in a corner would do to put her behind to eat in peace while they get fed

I need help...along these lines. We have an 11 mo old hen and I just added a 3 mo old hen...the older one is biting the baby on the back and chasing her around. Do I allow this? For how long? I need all the help I can get. Brand-new to all of this.
