"Cool!" He began to walk to the shop.

She followed him. "You have money, right? I had to get some medicine for Akai the other day so I spent the spare money Mama gave me before I ran away." Her voice dropped to a hushed whisper.

He handed her about $70. "Here."

Neytiri's eyes went wide. "You're giving me all this?"

"Yeah. I can get more." He shrugged.

She took it, smiled, then walked into the store. "Wait here. I'll show you what I got later." She smiled. "It's gonna be a surprise." She winked.

He laughed and sat down on a nearby bench.

About 45 minutes later, Neytiri emerged with two shopping bags holding the clothes she'd bought, and wearing new jeans and a black shirt with the words 'Aeropostale' printed across the front.

Neytiri smiled back. "It's getting late. We should get back to the wolves."
