The pest again

Ok so my little early strange chick who is now my loner but will be getting a friend tomorrow fingers crossed she has a string like thing hanging from her bottom with a hard dried up sack at the end, some of the strange string thing is turning white, the sack is rock solid and weigh her down! She’s eating and drinking small amounts, say every 3 hours and is peeing and pooping! Can this be snipped off? Is really tiring her out dragging it along with her?
