Yeah I am not really surprised by poor quality but it is a state fair so it’s kinda like reallly??? The Jr. birds at my fair were a lot better. The open show birds were better but not as good as the jr bitds.
I like the lacing on that EE tbh

Bird health yes. They shouldn’t emphasize missing feathers as much as they do because it’s summer when birds are at their worst but they still do. Your birds would def beat those examples since they look hatchery quality too and your birds are just gorgeous.

Thank you. I mean it is a state fair but the birds are not the main attraction, I assume they are mostly just for non-bird owners to gawk at. There was a mama hen with chicks on display too. They serve their purpose I suppose.

It's raining here!

It’s raining in my hometown, but we are lucky to be out here in Syracuse today! We were visiting NYC yesterday and they are now getting clobbered by Henri.

Yeah, though up here we don’t get as many and they are never as bad as the ones farther south. This is New England’s first hurricane in a long time, though we did get a tropical cyclone a few months ago

This year I get off of school for certain shows with the excuse that it’s a “college visit” and will visit colleges.

The Boston Poultry Expo does sound fun though!
