Our temporary coop doesn't fit into the run where it's safe

The run is huge!...oh, maybe won't fit thru the run door?

@aart Yeah, that was our idea! It wouldn't be able to fit through the door, but it's about 4 1/2 inches too big even if we unscrew the roof!

Also great link, I definitely want to go bigger on the coop so we can fit more things inside, the shed was what we had available at the time and it wasn't being used, so we kind of fit it to our purpose. We're still definitely trying to fit things in the right places, and our girls are being patient with us as we learn!

Could put it next to the run and cut an opening to the small coop, attached securely of course.

Yep, furniture rearranging the s the answer. Move the nests about 18inches from the floor so they can walk under if they want. Install roosts higher than nests. If you need to run the roost directly above the nests why not make a poop board as the covering over the nests. Roosts should be about 8 inches above the poop board so birds can’t fit underneath but tails won’t drag on he board. Can’t see inside too well but it looks like you could fit a roost and poop board along each side wall and the nests along the back. Good luck as you move furniture.
