The puppy and the cats, I'm frustrated.

My dobie pup and cat would play very enthusiastically with each other, although it was very clear the cat was the boss. This cat had his claws intact and would beat up and chase off any other dog no matter its size. Once we had a babysitter over; when we came home she said everything was alright except...she looked upset..."I had to shut the dog in the garage because it was eating the cat". Yes, their favorite game leaves the cat's head covered in slobber.

As long as they both have places to get away from the other when tired of the games, let them play without interference.

My cat used to tease the dog. The cat would sit on the couch and yowl until the dog couldn't stand it anymore and would start barking, then the cat would smack the snot out of the dog. They were both old enough to know better.

I think they will reach a tolerance point soon, and the doggie is going to be too big to follow the kitties under the bed.
