Eggs, meat, AND pets. Our laying hens will live out their full natural lives but the meat birds are doomed to the oven when that day comes.

If something happened and you had to evacuate your house in a huge hurry what would you grab on your way out the door other then your family and pets?

Living in a hurricane area, I have actually had to think on this! I keep all of our pictures and photo albums together in an easily identifiable and accessible box (it weighs a ton!). They just could never be replaced. I also keep all of our important papers together and handy, just in case.

Well we have been saving cash for our Hawaii trip this summer and that would have to be saved along with my wedding photo and as many of my collectable model horses as I could grab. During a bad storm I pre bag everything and have it by the door.
