THE Q-TIP

Today I stuck a q-tip in the brooder just for the heck of it and wiggled it around... THEY LOVED IT. They started jumping and followed it wherever it went. It turned into a big game of catch the q-tip. I don't know why they loved it so much, but I figured it was a good way to get them to start following me. Just thought I'd share to hopefully make you guy's lives easier. Let me know if it works on your chicks. Don't let them eat it lol. Thanks! Molly

I'm getting new chicks in a couple weeks so I will try the Q-tip game!

But let me tell you, if you've never tossed a meal worm into a brooder and watched the hilarious pandemonium that ensues when they play meal worm keep-away, you are in for more laughs than you can imagine!
