Your whole description was incorrect so you didn’t escape. The floor of ship is actually the ceiling. What you walk on is called the sole. Since you say you chewed your way through the floor, you just escaped to the upper deck where my crew caught you, muzzled you and threw you in an all iron brig.

And I didn’t sink because there is no hole in the hull of the ship.
