Back Yard Mama: and in the house too!
I am brand new to BYC, but I love this group and have been enjoying all of you and your genious and humor. So glad to be a member. I did not know that I would go chicken crazy. I was given 2 silkie roos from someone that did not want them. I have since learned that one is a bearded silkie now named Ashley and the other is Rhett). Well, after that it meant getting a coop and finding some ladies. That was a nightmare I will spare you from, but did get a red silkie (named her Scarlet) and a spotted (Prissy) that has since died from Mareks. (sniffle). I now have 6 pullets in a extra large dog crate in my living room and 10 baby chicks in a large box in my living room - with more to hatch today!
About me...I guess I have to tell that too. I am a retired disabled RN. Have an egggscellet day!
