The RE-Build of Les Farms

Thank you all so much for your wonderful words of encouragement.

I'm happy to inform you all that the insurance company has approved the plans for the new barn, as well as the contractor we want. So it's all a go once the snow melts (going fast this week!) Hopefully we will be able to start the barn mid April.

I am on pins and needles waiting for Henry to arrive. I'm so excited!
Congrats and great news all around. Henri is adorable!

Hey Justine,
I just now read about your tragedy. We are so sorry and if there is any thing our small flock can provide just ask. Glad your getting back in action right away and congrats on your beautiful new BMD.

Here is the blue silkie. I thought for sure a boy, but there is no comb development at all (she will be 12 weeks on Saturday).

Margaret is doing really well :)

Her mom was extremely small. The silkie here is tiny as well. Smaller than the pictures look.

Ruddy is getting randy because breeding season is underway. He'll calm down by summer most likely.

Silkies shouldn't weigh much.. 2 lbs to be exact for females.

Males are 1/2 a pound more than that.

Here are the parents of my blue silkie (and yours as well - at least the dad is your silkies' dad.. the mom could have been Lorraine, but I believe it was Pearl).

Can he see? If you clip around his eyes he may have better luck breeding.

Frankle needs a girlfriend. I think we may adopt one from the SPCA - as they are spade.. He has a weird balance issue, and we don't want to breed bunnies.. So that's what I think we will do. His last best bud just recently passed after the fire. She was old.

I know a lot of people single coop their male bunnies, but I feel like he is lonely. Look at those eyes?! Doesn't he look like he needs a buddy!
