Ahhhh ....a living analogy of overcoming tragedy.
Would like to see a pic what 's left of Margaret's feet. Looks like she can still move around ok and scratch...how will she do out on a dirt or grass surface? What kind of chicken is she...does she lay eggs?

She can still get around no problem, and her walking is getting better every day. I am not sure about the dirt/grass surface. We still have only snow.

She laid like a champ until molting in January. Hopefully she starts up soon!

She is a Black Ameraucana Bantam

A video I worked all night on. Please watch

Margaret is a survivor.
glad she survived she is beautiful ... my bird i have has a bad leg problem he has a hard time walking he trys to walk on his joints idk why but my grandfather said maybe he hurt his back or something .. he still walks on his feet but when he does every step he takes he kicks his leg back idk why

Aoxa.....I tried to watch the video, but just couldn't finish.....yet. I couldn't get past the image of the barn, I was crying too hard. I just lost my cat to the neighbor's dog, and I am too emotional now.....What I did see was so beautiful! I will watch again when in a less emotional state.
