He suddenly dove into the river, splashing water all over Ney.

Neytiri's eyes widened and her tail spiked, then she relaxed and laughed. "Oh, you asked for it!" She jumped in, following him.

He was already halfway across the river, laughing.

With Ney's hollow bones, more efficent heart and lemur-like tail she was faster than he was, she quickly caught up to him, and sped ahead of him, then reached the other end, pulling herself onto a rock. "I win!"

He smirked as he pulled himself up beside her.
