"Chelly?" Eric sat next to her on the bed, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Her skin was deathly cold, and her breaths were next to nothing.

"Oh no!" Eric tried to warm her skin and make her breathe more.

There seemed to be a wall surrounding her that prevented him from helping her.

Eric put all of his mental and emotional strength into trying to help her.

Her body begun to tremble, but then she opened her eyes and stopped shaking. She looked up at Eric, murmuring his name weakly.
