Neytiri gave a sharp gasp of surprise, before she crumpled to the ground.
She'd been shot.

Audric had been walking by, he ran over to her. "Ney!"

She didn't respond.

"Austin!! Eric!!!" Audric called out, bringing the others over in a hurry.

Pale-faced, Austin carried Ney to the med tent.

 

[TechnoCat]

Neytiri's skin constantly surged between hot and cold.

Eric quickly got to work trying to heal Ney.

But nothing was working.

By Austin's command, all of the soldiers formed a ring around the med tent. Getting an old book, Eric began to chant something.

Neytiri was lost in a dream, fragmented memories came to life around her. Her vision was highlighted red, yet she could see.

They kept chanting.

She lifted a weak hand and opened her eyes dazidly.
