His touch brought back memories- the good, the bad, the beautiful, the treacherous... and she begun to tremble again.

He held her close, comforting her.

"I miss you so much, Austin..."

He was silent, not knowing how to respond.

She let go of him and dropped to her knees, sighing.

He knelt next to her. "I'm sorry..." He hung his head, his dark hair falling over his eyes.

 

[TechnoCat]

She stood back up. "It isn't your fault." She murmured, then walking out of the cabin, the screen door shutting with a slam, a low whirring sound following.

He rushed to the door, looking outside.

Neytiri was speaking with her mother, Aiet'ey, not far off, and she was crying, Aiet'ey trying to comfort her, Karan standing beside Neytiri, watching. None of what they said could be heard. And another female avatar appeared behind Neytiri and she turned around. It was Mo'at. Neytiri threw her arms around Mo'at, saying something, and Mo'at replied something back. Mo'at held Neytiri's shoulders, and was saying something that just seemed to calm Neytiri down a bit. Neytiri nodded, wiping away tears.

Austin sighed, going to sit in a chair. His hand brushed against something in his pocket. He pulled it out, revealing a gold medallion.

Neytiri could be seen through a nearby window, heading out into the woods. a bow in her hand.
