Daisy flew past him up to Heather's Oak. She flew in. Muffled voices could be heard. Then she flew out. She nodded to Eragon and went back to her nest.

he smiled but wasn't very sure, he was still pondering whether to tell or not

Heather flew to a branch near Eragon. "Eragon, want to see you" she said, before flying into the tree.

he wanted to groan but he didn't he just flew after her, his long tail flowing behind him. "you wanted to see me?" he said trying to hide his slight fear of being caught

"I am very sorry" Heather started. "About this whole thing. I dont know who did this, but i feel bad that this happened while we have a guest. Are you ok?"

he was surprised that she hadn't suspected him "yeah i'm fine" he said

"good" She said happily. "Do you know anything about it? i know it was near where you were."

"um..." he tried to think of a good lie but was having trouble thinking of a good one so he said "i really don't know"

he had a feeling that wouldn't convince her so he decided to tell part of the truth "i did put the fire out though" he said, it was true, and hopefully convincing
