he thought how to say the concern "if i wanted i could regrow a large amount of the forest with magic quickly but i have a feeling heather would hate me for it" he said "should i? it would do the flock a lot of good"

"But all of the other chickens were crying for help too. I mean, they mostly relied on themselves, and I hoped someone would come help me, I didn't rely completely on myself... Oh, I think I answered that question myself." she said.

"Hmm. It will be BarrenTime soon. I dont think there is a reason to heal the forest. You must let it grow back in RainTime. There really is no point."

"But all of the other chickens were crying for help too. I mean, they mostly relied on themselves, and I hoped someone would come help me, I didn't rely completely on myself... Oh, I think I answered that question myself." she said.

"You have a heart. They did not" Chase answered calmly.

he nodded then looked at some spot in the distance "heather said she didn't want to Hear that i used magic so if nobody saw me it would be fine right?" he said with a mischevious look on his face

"And I believed. I understand. Is mourning sage, the great master, hunting me? I feel him looking for me, and block out my mind, but it scares me. He swore to kill me if he ever found me," she said after a few moments.

"Eragon, i dont think you should" she said. "it will mess with the balance of life for other animals of the forest."
