Well, no good deed goes unpunished. This is exactly why I do not live in a place with a HOA and never will if I have any fight left in me. Just keep citing the rules till you are blue in the face and tell them to mind their own business since you are lawfully attending to yours. And I agree--no one gets eggs or they will say they were made sick by them, just to throw in another complaint.
