The Rhodebar thread!

Pics
I picked up my little Rhodebar cockerel this afternoon. I did a trade for one of my HRIR cockerels for the Rhodebar. I have 4 HRIR pullets that are 16 weeks old and about 10 that are 4 weeks old so I will have plenty of good HRIR to match up with this little guy. I am so excited and can't wait to be able to breed them.

the yellow is indeed a rhodebar male they have some very light strawberry and cream ones they turn out well. I was suprised when I got one as well.
Untill further proof of this statement is provided(closer pics and detailed pics of subject) I will still be calling him a Wheaten heterozygote or a none rhodebar chick. he just dont look like a rhodebar male.. Remember that Mahogany will prevent these chicks turning yellow, and if he lacks mahogany then he will not look good at all
