Rocky..blunt they are on here. I found out. he he, but I also found out that they are just trying to help. Sometimes, things not heard, but read, just plain and simple, come out wrong in our mind. I've had that happen on threads that just love love love talking genetics. I just love love love showing them my birds that are not perfect anyway. I know I can find out if it's a girl or a boy..ha ha..but not on my recent one, she faked out a lot of folks, even these experts here.

I don't get upset when my birds are critiqued. I just like to rib the critics. I purchased Rhodebars from Greenfire farms. I am tickled with my birds. I think anyone could post a picture of any breed and, even if it were perfect, someone would find something wrong with it. To each his on. Thank you for your kind words about my Zaxby.

It is not meant to be snobby? It is a breed specific thread meant to be helpful. I have plenty of chickens that aren't even purebred that I dearly love. I have one who is half rir and half buff orp, but she looks like a rir. She is a great layer and very friendly. But I would be doing the rir breed a disservice if I called her a rir. I don't like her any less. She is simply not a standard bred bird.
