Here is an f1 roo . I like his coloring he is really dark. What do you guys think? Niclandia? Redridge ?

Do you have a pic of when he was 2-3 days old?
What does the rir look like?
His leg color didn't look good but he has some horn on his break. Would love to see him as a chick and a pick of hen

Hmmmm.... Here's the problem.
If that cockerel is one of the chicks in this photo then he was not easily autosexed.
Wait a minute... Scratch that. .. These are F1s right?
If that's the case then 3 of the 6 would be keepers. The other would be culls - at least here.
What did the hen look like?

I really like that next to the last pullet.
I would use which every pullets were the darkest stripe at hatch. I divided mine into 3 groups, kept the darkest group for potential breeding, culled the other 2 groups. Then as that darkest group matures, choose the ones with the best type as your breeders.

Your color will come easy since your rir hens and RB cock are have such correct color. So think type, type, type. Looks like you are well in your way - very nice. ;-)

It isn't blue, the flash on the camera caused this effect. I will try to post one that I take without the flash.
