I have 2 groups of jersey giants, one is SQ and the other isn't. Would it be better to keep a SQ roo and the regular hens or visa versa.
 
What are you trying to accomplish? If you plan on showing, keep show quality hens and roosters. If not keep whatever birds suit your needs best. I'm not quite sure what you're trying to find out.
