The rooster has been sick..

My roo has been sick and he has been in the rabbit coop since May 9th. These are not very big so its sorta like a battery cage. He is being medicated with oxytet for some respiratory illness. Can I return him to the flock without harming the eggs? Can I also return him without him making the others sick?

I don't know if I would risk infecting the rest of your flock, what kind of illness does he have? Sometimes with certian illnesses in birds even if they get better they can still be a carrier for the disease. Maybe someone knows more, I know just what I have read.
