I want to introduce you to an unseen world. It is a world of vibrant coral, underwater canyons, colorful fish, and deep sea caverns. This land may seem to exist on another planet entirely, but it is in fact located here, on planet Earth. Why is it unseen? Possibly because humans have not cared to venture into it's depths. Fortunately, they are too busy with their lives on land to care about us and our home in the Pacific Ocean.
Once, this realm under the sea was filled with dolphins, whales, and porpoises, all living together happily. We called ourselves the Kingdom of Cetacea, although there was no king or queen. Twice a year, every citizen of Cetacea congregated at the Hall of Radiance, a secret, gorgeous cavern, to make decisions. These meetings normally came and went with celebration, but recently, a member of the high council rose and said something that would change our lives forever: the Kingdom of Sela had settled near the Abyss, a deep gash in the sea floor where no Cetacean dared to go.
As you can imagine, this news created quite an argument. Some citizens insisted they would fight these intruders, some wished to flee, and some plotted to join the other kingdom. A vote was taken, and the council agreed to stay in Cetacea, although we would be on guard for the Selans.
So far, nothing eventful has happened. A few skirmishes have occurred on the border, but they were quickly forgotten. Will this unrest become a fierce battle, or will we retain an unsteady peace? You can help decide the outcome of this saga.

Kingdoms:
Cetacea: This kingdom contains dolphins, whales, and porpoises. They are generally peaceful, unless threatened (with a few exceptions). A characteristic of this group is it's intelligence and curiosity. The geography of Cetacea has coral reefs, tropical beaches, and open ocean.
Sela: This kingdom contains sharks of all species. Members of this kingdom follow their leaders obediently, or be punished. They enjoy fighting and hunting, but they are not as intelligent as Cetaceans. The geography of Sela has steep drop-offs, open sea, and underwater caves.
Ranks:
Leaders: These creatures are the main councilmembers. They are in charge of leading the other animals in their kingdom and making decisions. Leaders are the most respected animals in the kingdom.
Generals: These animals plan military movements and keep the citizens updated on wars. They are under the direction of the leaders. Any warriors obey their commands.
Warriors: These animals are the fighting force of the kingdom. They listen to the generals.
Citizen: These are the normal kingdom members. They respect the leaders, but are not under the orders of a general.
Outcast: These are the social misfits. many of them become loners.
Loners: Any animal that has left it's kingdom to survive on it's own. Some of them are fleeing the war they insist will happen.
Traitors: These are any animals that left their own kingdom to join the other side. For example, a hammerhead shark joining the Kingdom of Cetacea.
