if im going to keep 8 chickens how much of a run will i need

I would say that the run would need to be at least 8 ft by 8 ft. That would give each chicken 8 sq feet of space. It is recommended that each chicken have 3 sq feet of space in the coop and 10 sq feet of space in the run. That would mean the run would need to be 8ft by 10ft in size. Less than that would work, however.
