"It's an Unfinished Life" by Kate Wolf - so appropriate for a great folk singer who died much too young from leukemia.

"I'll Be Home For Christmas" by anyone - I wasn't even born! But watching my grandmother cry to this song evokes the same reaction to me. During WWII, my uncle wrote home in one of his letters. "Mom, like the song says 'I'll be home for Christmas'" Of course, he never came home. He died 8 years before I was born but the gloom that followed that song in our family still makes me cry whenever I hear it.
