The Saga of Daria: When will she heckin’ lay?!

Her BEARD. It's MAGNIFICENT.
I know! that’s what I love so much about ameraucanas. Maude has a pretty impressive one too. The only issue is his red leakage, I think there’s the red-brown or wheaten coloration somewhere in his linage ( wishful thinking, of course )

Since the days are still getting shorter through the 21st of December, my guess would be late January/early February. The waiting can be SO tedious !:fl
ahhh, the wait is killing me. on a more hopeful side, it felt like her pelvic bones were farther apart than from the last time i checked. it went from close to one & a half finger width to now almost a full two. none of my roos have taken an interest in her yet, though.

She is an absolute camera ham - those pictures are adorable and cute and beyond my vocabulary, LOL! That's got to be one of the cutest hens I've seen. She'll get there one day, but for now you could sell her photos as a supermodel chicken!

(And don't feel bad- I've got a flock of rejects who don't lay anymore :lau But I totally love them)
