We had a trench dug in our yard recently to put in a pipe. It was really noisy and the hens didn't like it, it put them off their laying.

How pretty!!! Fatima is just beautiful. Don't you just love to EE's? My muffy looks quite a bit like your Fatima. I love your flock. Very pretty girls and nicely feathered for the cold winter.

Yes, they are all very soft and full-feathered, except Phoebe. She was molting at the time of these pics (few weeks ago), but is back in feathered glory now!

Fatima is one of the prettiest hens I have ever seen. She's almost that "lemon blue" color.

That's why she's of the Gold-dust Feathers. Because her feathers are gold and dusty blue. (Only just realized that it seems like plain ole gold dust... not NEARLY as pretty
