Anybody Tapping early this year. We had some pretty warm weather stretch last week , and it looked like the trees were starting to bud. Crossed my mind to put a tap in.

Just put mine in and got a light run today. Located in central MN, open trees on south slope, silver maple. Might have gotten some over the weekend, but was out of town on family business.

well i think next week i will start tapping the trees.... i am taping 4 trees this year! and building a new boiling down set up.

I'm in central Michigan , put ours in Saturday. We had a couple good days, got about ten gallons now we froze up for a couple days but warm weather coming, like 50's woohoo
