Carolyn began to bristle with agitation. "Shut up." She hissed back. Carolyn hated people like this. People like her. She was a competitive type, the kind where she enjoyed walking over the others with ease. Having someone as smart as her ruins the fun. She knew the cards were in favor of joining forces, but she ignored the fact and thought about what would happen to her if their plan, whatever it was, failed.
