Autumn said "Arko, I trusted you over Salem. I loved you. Now you took away my daughter!" She cried some more, grabbed Echo, and ran off into the bushes.

Arko ran after her,"autum I'm sorry!i had made sure that I closed the den.you can't blame me"he said.

Autumn shook her head "Think Arko, think! Foxes can dig, and so can many other animals. Anything could have gotten to her. I can blame you, because now my beloved daughter is dead!"

Arko shook his head,"I didn't want her to die, autum.you know how much I love her, and you and echo."he paused trying to think of the right thing to say,"I honestly, and truly, never ment for her to die.i wanted to make sure you were ok.cause think of it this way, if you left, both echo and midnight would have died."

Echo stayed were she was.she wasn't going to let this happen.for what she thought she couldn't do, she opened her mouth and said,"No.im not going to let this happen.i know you love each other you just afraid to say it"she howled,"he has always loved you and I and midnight.he had never ment for her to die and I don't want this I just don't!"she paused,"I don't want to have spilt loyalties with my father and mother.i just don't"she said shakieng her head.

Echo shook her head,"NO!"she howled,"that's not what I ment"she cried.she raced after her mother and said,"that's not what I ment."she cried.
