~*~The Shifting War - RP (Role Play)~*~

Zackary sat at the table, eating a bowl of oatmeal with butter and brown sugar before he had to leave for work at the shop. The apartment was small - a kitchenette attached to the mane room, and one bedroom that he had split into two with drapes. It wasn't much, but it was away from their mother, and that was something. Khloe, still asleep, was out of school, and didn't have a job, so as far as Zack knew, she spent her time wondering around town while he was at work. But that was not the case...

He didn't plan on waking her, so left as quietly as he could.

Khloe awoke a hour or so later, she knew her brother would already been gone, so got dressed in a long grey shirt, tight black jeans, running shoes, and a forest green jacket. She left the apartment, walking down the streets, her plan was to go running through the woods, get far away from town, then shift. But something interesting caught her attention. Two young women, standing a little ways away from each other. There was tension in the air, and her curiosity made her pause on the road, and watch them.

Ari stopped and looked to her twin then shifted and moved closer. Her wolf was a pure black with blue eyes. Silent she moved closer, letting the wolf form take what information it could from the scents on the wind as she moved closer to the boy. She paused and tilted her head, was he one of them?

Though Ryan's instincts were out of use, he sensed the movement close behind him, and his eyes flew open. He slowly turned his head, and caught site of the black wolf out of the corner of his eye. He threw himself across the ground on his back, away from it, heart suddenly pounding, the thought of shifting nowhere near his thoughts.

"Who are you?" Mark asked from his place in hiding.

Ryan's eyes flickered between the wolf and where he thought the voice had come from, though the adrenaline had woken him, his foggy mind was still frantically trying to work out what to do."Ryan, I-I'm Ryan." He was breathing hard, but his voice was somewhat steady, though a bit higher then usual. He tried to calm his breathing and stay still, laying on his back, arms propping him halfway up, not wanting to provoke the wolf, who seemed to be looking at him in an odd way.

He had never shifted in front of anyone, and though the thought now came to his mind, he knew that would only be his last resort. "Can you, please, call your wolf, off? Please, I don't mean any harm towards you."
