~*~The Shifting War - RP (Role Play)~*~

((Ok. I must say that first post you did to start him off made me smile :p))

Skye was wrapped up in her own busy thoughts as she walked rather quickly down the side walk toward school. She didn't often shift out in the open like this, but if she could just go left up ahead and take a short cut through the field, she should be able to go unseen in her fox form. It would be faster, anyway.
She was still trying to make up her mind when she finally noticed the soft sound of bike tyres on concrete coming up behind her. Skye turned her head to look at whoever the voice came from, only to see some boy who apparently couldn't be bothered steering. "Hi" She answered, returning a distracted smile that clearly showed her mind was on things other then him at that moment

((Thanks, I like setting up characters so you can get a feel for who they are. :) ))

"I'm Jay," He continued, trying to get her attention on him, "You late for school? I am." He never seemed to have much luck with girls, every relationship he'd ever had ended within a week of it starting, some of then ended at the first date, but that didn't stop him from trying, so he smiled wider and let the bike weave left and right in lazy moves on the road as he kept up with her pace.

Ari looked at him and tilted her head a little then looked to Mark questioningly. She would do as he wanted as she usually did.

Mark looked to Ryan then to Ari then around the area, thinking. "It wouldn't put you out?" He asked after several steps in silence. He looked to Ryan again "It would make things easier for us, but we don't want to cause problems"

"No, it wouldn't be any problem, there's an extra room," Ryan reassured them with a slightly nervous smile, "Hope you don't mind astrology charts lining the walls," They started across the bridge, and he pointed to the shop not far ahead. It was a fair sized place right on the water, had a parking lot in the back, and there were boats, canoes and kayaks of varying sizes were on racks in front.

((Well you did a good job of it XD))

Skye's blue eyes darted ahead for a second when a bird flew out of a bush at the front of someones garden, then back at Jayden when he spoke again. He seemed keen on conversation of some sort, so she decided to make a mild effort in replying. "I'm Skye, nice to meet you" The girl started in auto pilot greeting mode, a small nod in acknowledgment at the end of the sentence. "And yea, I'm late. As usual" Skye gave a slight grin

"Then we will graciously accept your offer" Mark said and dipped his head then looked to the shop near the water.
Ari grinned and glanced from one to the other then ahead

(( :D ))

"Nice to meet you too. Skye, that's a pretty name," Jayden replied with a wink, then put his right hand back on the mid section of the handlebar, seeing as the road was bumpy up ahead, and he didn't want to make a fool of himself by loosing control of the bike. "You want a ride, Skye? We'd get there a lot faster." He asked with a grin.

Skye raised a brow at his compliment, "Thanks" She said in mild surprise. She shifted the grey back pack that was slung over her shoulder, looking up ahead again. She turned the corner to the road that would lead them to school when her attention was snapped back to Jayden again, upon his offer for a ride. Oh, joy... Her surprised raised brow expression returned again, but vanished just as quickly as she replied in the definate tone she so often used when her mind was made up. "No thanks, I'll be fine. It's not to far from here"

((Ok, no problem :) I'm having fun too! It's not often I find a decent RP where the role players actually write more then, maybe, 7 word sentences :p ))

((Same here, I tried that kind of quick back and forth RP when I first started, but I'm rubbish at it, I over thing every reply, so I like this type much more. :D ))

Jayden wasn't put off at all by her response, though he was disappointed, he hadn't really expected her to accept his offer anyway. He didn't say anything for a few moments, instead he put both hands on the handlebar, did a wheelie, and held it, "Well, you can't hate a guy for trying," he said with a laugh as he let the front tire fall back to the ground, "See ya, Skye," and with that, he put his weight on the pedals and sped off, looking back and smiling once he was about thirty feet away.
