~*~The Shifting War - RP (Role Play)~*~

"Then we will graciously accept your offer" Mark said and dipped his head then looked to the shop near the water.
Ari grinned and glanced from one to the other then ahead

Ryan smiled in acknowledgment of Marks words, then looked at the ground a few feet in front of his feet as they walked, feeling happier then he had in a long while.

"Okay, here are your canoes, and the paddles. Have a fun time." Zackary said, faking a smile as the small group of canoeists started to paddle away up the river. He was about to turn away from the water, and head back up the boat ramp to the shop, but three figures crossing the bridge caught his eye, and then he recognized one. "Hey, Ryan!" He shouted to them in a nonchalant way, raising his hand in greeting.

Ryan looked up sharply at the noise, saw Zack, and self concisely mimicked the gesture of greeting as heads swiveled their way.

Zack laughed at Ryan's shy attempted at a greeting, "Looks like you've got some friends with ya, come on over!" He shouted again, humored by the thought.

((Same here, I tried that kind of quick back and forth RP when I first started, but I'm rubbish at it, I over thing every reply, so I like this type much more.

Jayden wasn't put off at all by her response, though he was disappointed, he hadn't really expected her to accept his offer anyway. He didn't say anything for a few moments, instead he put both hands on the handlebar, did a wheelie, and held it, "Well, you can't hate a guy for trying," he said with a laugh as he let the front tire fall back to the ground, "See ya, Skye," and with that, he put his weight on the pedals and sped off, looking back and smiling once he was about thirty feet away.

((Yea, I just find it to hard to reply to really short posts usually X3))

Skye would have rolled her eyes at his wheelie show, had she not been thinking about something else at that moment. Jayden reminded her allot of her brother somehow. It was strange, seeing as they were nothing alike in any way she could see. Skye snapped out of her thoughts though, hiding the small faint frown that had formed. There was no time to think about that now, and she pushed the thought away roughly- like she did with most things that had anything to do with family.
"Bye" Skye smiled, raising her hand in a half wave.

Jayden, over all, thought that the chance encounter with Skye was a great success - well, she didn't completely blow him off. He reached the school, jumping the bike up on to the curb and racing down the sidewalk towards the bike rack. At the last moment, he hit the brakes, letting the back of the bike move to the right as he skidded to a stop. Perfect! He thought, pleased as he surveyed the black skid marks he had purposefully made, Wish Skye could have seen that... He frowned slightly in disappointment at her not seeing his feet of 'awesomeness', being that he was under the impression that she had thought his wheelie to be really cool. Well, he as wrong...

"Yeah, um, that's him," Ryan replied quietly, embarrassed over what Zackary had shouted. They reached the end of the bridge, and Zack jogged up to meet them, wearing a forest green T-shirt, with the stores name 'Sunnydale Sports, Hunting, and Hardware' on it in woodsy tones.

"Hey, names Zackary, but I go by Zack," He offered his hand to Mark, a sincere smile carling around the corners of his mouth. He wasn't a longtime friend of Ryan or anything, Zack and his sister had only moved there the week before. They had gotten to talking when Ryan came in to put a order in for some hiking boots they didn't have in stock, it was mainly one sided, Ryan wasn't a big talker, but Zack liked the dude, so didn't mind.
